Kopec Enterprise Heater Warranty
General warranty coverage for units in the state of Florida
Kopec Enterprises, Inc. (KEI) warrants to the original owner, the KEI heat pump pool heater to be free of defects in materials (parts) for a period of five (5) years. There is a lifetime warranty for the titanium heat exchanger part (on select models). KEI warrants its heat pump pool heaters for a period of five (5) years for all workmanship and labor services. This warranty is valid in the state of Florida only. For the warranty on products installed outside Florida and the continental USA please contact a KEI representative.
Effective date of warranty
The original date of installation will be used as the effective start date of the warranty period. If the warranty card with the owner information has not been received by KEI the effective date will be the date of manufacture plus ninety (90) days.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty does not apply if:
- The product is not properly installed in accordance with factory installation instructions, good trade practices or local codes and ordinances.
- The serial number label(s) are altered or removed.
- The damage occurred from misuse, chemical abuse (does not apply in titanium models), neglect, fire, flood, freeze or any other act of nature.
- The product is modified in any way without factory authorization, factory approved accessories (parts) or by anyone other than a factory authorized service technician.
- Nuisance calls such as, no power to the unit (breaker or switch off), low water flow due to improper valve position, dirty filter or any other flow restriction. Remote control failure and any other job-site related problem or customer error.
- Product warranty is not transferable if there is a change in ownership.
- Warranty does not cover costs associated with shipping or mailing parts.
- The warranty service was performed without prior notification to KEI and/or performed by a service representative not authorized or qualified by KEI.

Kopec Enterprises, Inc. (KEI) warrants to the original owner, the KEI heat pump pool heater to be free of defects in materials (parts) for a period of two (2) years. KEI also warranties the titanium heat exchanger part (in select models) for the lifetime of the unit. KEI warrants its heat pump pool heaters for a period of two (2) years for all workmanship and labor services. This warranty is valid outside the state of Florida only. For the warranty on products installed outside the continental USA please contact a KEI representative.
